
On May 16, 2025, the Graduate School of Burapha University hosted an academic development event titled “Driving Industrial Research with Structural Equation Modeling: From Theory to Practice Using jamovi.” The event commenced with an opening address by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Witawat Jangiam, Dean of the Graduate School, and featured a distinguished keynote lecture by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Poonpong Suksawang from the Faculty of Education, Burapha University.
This initiative aimed to deepen the participants' understanding of statistical methodologies in research, with a particular focus on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Targeting graduate students, academic staff, industry professionals, and researchers from diverse organizations, the program provided both theoretical insights and hands-on practice using jamovi, a user-friendly statistical software.
The session not only enhanced participants’ ability to apply statistical tools effectively and appropriately in their research but also fostered a dynamic platform for knowledge sharing and academic networking in the field of applied statistics.
